Every year, the Helen Woodward Animal Center hosts PAWmicon with two important goals: raising money and letting people show off their pups in adorable costumes. Unfortunately, as you can imagine, it's just not possible to have this kind of event in the midst of a pandemic, but the folks at Helen Woodward haven't thrown in the towel; instead, they've gone virtual! While those of us here at Cooper's Treats are bummed not to be able to go in person, we're thrilled that it's now open to anyone in the world. There'll be plenty of cute dogs in costume at the cosplay contest, plus panel discussions, trivia, a digital scavenger hunt and web virtual reality experiences.
